Nathan Hickle, baritone, earned his Master of Music Degree in Vocal Performance from Colorado State University in 2012, where he taught individual voice, music theory, and vocal coaching for actors. Nathan's studio at Magnolia includes many high school tenors and basses, with a goal to "keep guys singing!" His teen students sing in school choirs and perform in musicals and talent shows. Nathan helps prepare teen students for All-State Choir and college auditions. Nathan recently joined the vocal/choral faculty of Front Range Community College. He has a Bachelor of Music Education Degree from University of Northern Colorado. He is a versatile performer in opera and music theater. Nathan performed numerous roles with UNC and CSU Opera and was an Apprentice Artist witih Opera Fort Collins. Favorite roles include the title role in "Sweeney Todd", Pirate King in "Pirates of Penzance", The Count in "Marriage of Figaro" , and most recently, Fiorello in Opera Fort Collins "Barber of Seville" with Gregory Gerbrandt and Vale Ridout. Nathan and his wife Kristin, a music therapy graduate student, reside in Fort Collins.
